Christmas has come and gone. The hot weather came on Christmas morning and was gone by mid-afternoon. We have been curled up by the fire all day. Sitting in church on Christmas Eve at Wildwood United Methodist really put me in the Holiday mood. It was by far the best service I have ever sat through.
Sitting in my new living room with Trena’s family watching Carmen (who is living in Maryland) on the flat screen tv courtesy of SKYPE, watching my two teenager daughters dance around with Wrapping bows on their heads…. perfection
Sitting fire-side Christmas morning drinking coffee and watching my wife open her stocking, girls laughing, dog getting into the mess…. perfection
Eating dinner made by my mother, sitting at the famous Bowie dining room table, listening to the cousins laughing in the other room at the “kids table” then on to the present opening that takes hours!! Looking over at my mom and dad realizing that we are lucky people… perfection
Today…. sitting in my new study typing this article, Brooke off at friends house doing what 12 year old girls do… Wife walking around in socks enjoying her house… Rebecca playing her new $800 Taylor guitar and basically teaching herself new songs in one day… Dog curled up everywhere I go…
perfection
May peace be with you and your family. Happy Holidays.
