Texans are a rough and tough bunch that love their kids. This is not a good move for young Casey. Even facebook has a page about not moving here…
I still can’t get my head around the fact that she is walking anywhere free. I remember the verdict being read for the OJ Simpson trial. I was a first year teacher and all of us had the TVs on counting the verdict down with the students. When the not-guilty verdict was read I could hear the entire 3,400 student body in the school begin to shout and cheer. It was eerie. I remember thinking for the first time what it would be like to completely lose control of a building or public demonstration. Think about it… 3,400 students ages 14-20 completely out-numbered the staff of 250-ish. It was rough controlling them in the classroom. Why does the public become so involved?
I thought that maybe it was because the news media gets involved. Cameras in the court rooms turn it into a circus. I can’t help but think if the trail was a short trial somewhere at an undisclosed location, the jurors were put up in a nice hotel with great room service and no TV or cell phones that we would have read about Casey going to jail or better yet, death row.
How do you talk to your kids about this (if you have children). I had some very interesting conversations with my 11 and 13-year-old girls about why she is free. Anyone else with this problem?
Everytime I surf the internet I see these pictures of Casey Anthony. I don’t know all the facts; I wasn’t on the jury… But I think of her killing her child then out on the town partying. Wow…

This one cracks me up too…. If you do a google search for Casey Anthony it pops up in the images. How do we know that is Casey’s Ass?
