Kellie Pickler – At It Again

Kellie Pickler is a helluva roll-model.  I was entertained by her back on American Idol, I loved her heartfelt version of the song I Wonder sand at the CMA on 11-07-07, and now she has shaved her head in honor of her friend who is fighting breast cancer. This girl goes all out. During a recent concert Kellie stops singing and starts to talk to a fan on the front row about how they had a family member who was dealing with cancer.  Then she goes on to say, “I think the thing that makes country music so special is that behind every country song, there’s a story.  A story about someone’s life, and what they’ve been through–good or bad. Maybe what they’re going through now.” That epitomizes country music for me.  Thank you Kellie!
