My oldest daughter decided to tackle a singer/songwriter camp this summer out at Dosey Doe. Real Life Real Music, I have mentioned them before in a blog post, put together a great week-long camp where the students write their own song, record it, and then perform it for the public. Kyle Hutton did a wonderful job helping my daughter with the camp and playing guitar for her song! My kiddo, Rebecca, loves to write music and sing. Choir at school is the most she has “performed” so we were all anxious and nervous for her to have her first performance! Much less, it was of her original song!! This experience for my daughter was one of the scariest, most exciting and fun event I have witnesses her do! I am a sucker for sports, so I love watching her roam the last line of defense on a soccer field but this was by far the most nerve-wracking!
